5 Reasons People Don’t Reach the Level of Success they Desire - Brian Tracy

It’s easy to have high aspirations… It’s much less easy to make those dreams and goals a reality. The truth is, many of us struggle the most with the daunting day-in and day-out repetition that yields the biggest results and makes the difference between success and failure . It’s worth taking some time to dig deep and figure out what’s holding you back from reaching the next level of success because once you’ve named the thing that’s holding you back, you stand a chance at stepping over it and moving on. In my years of experience mentoring and leading others toward their goals, I’ve seen these same 5 self-destructive   habits repeat themselves again and again. 1. Blaming Others Also known as: Making Excuses. Before you can take charge of your life and move forward toward your goals, you have to take ownership of where you are right now. And though there are dozens of factors involved in every aspect of where you are in life right now, it comes down to this: You have the ag

Ali Brown - Liliana Lovell, Founder of the Coyote Ugly Saloon + CEO of Ugly Inc. — Glambition Radio Episode 173 with Ali Brown

Coyote Ugly Saloon founder Lil Lovell was just 25 when she opened that first bar in New York City . And I remember hearing about it when I lived there in the ‘90s. It had become wildly popular overnight, known for its bartenders (and female customers!) dancing on the bar . And then one of her employees — a little-known writer named Elizabeth Gilbert (yes, truly) — wrote a fantastic piece on it when she was freelancing for ‘GQ’ magazine. Suddenly, Coyote Ugly was thrust into the national spotlight. Then Hollywood came knocking , and as you probably remember, the movie ‘ Coyote Ugly ’ came out in 2000. Today on GlambitionRadio.com , Lil reveals how she went from her tiny bar to the $37M+ franchise of today, which operates 27 locations in 7 countries , with another 20+ locations in the pipeline. On #GlambitionRadio, Lil opens up about the realities of having a movie based on her business , and her ‘ unpopular ’ opinion about the dark side of the women’s empowerment movement . (She

Eva Jannotta - The problem with ‘news’ today…

Years ago, we got our news in limited doses – a few TV or radio programs a day; the daily paper. That was it. Today, we are accustomed to a 24-hour assault on all fronts – online and offline, and even when you try to turn it off. (Just the other day I had to endure noxious TV news airing at an airport gate. As if we aren’t already anxious enough before flying.) The danger in this perpetual and often manufactured drama and outrage designed for our entertainment and to stoke our news addiction, is that we become numb to the news that REALLY does matter. Enter my guest this week on Glambition® Radio, Jessica Yellin , founder of #NewsNotNoise . After enjoying an award-winning career of being a White House Correspondent and journalist for major media like CNN and GMA, she had enough of what news has become, and decided to create her own ‘channel’, starting with her Instagram account. Imagine news that was, well, real ‘news’? Actual information? Amazing! You’ll hear her take on it. Bu

6 Tips for Building a Brand and Selling Internationally - Brian Tracy

International selling isn’t easy, but the rewards of your efforts can be well worth the work you put in. Go-getters all speak the same language regardless of where they happen to be born. They understand drive, determination, and focus immediately without anything getting lost in translation. Entrepreneurs who want to take their mission to a global level may need a little more than just an unbreakable spirit. There’s an art to handling people from other cultures and identifying priorities that may be wildly different from your own. Follow these tips for success when selling internationally. 1. Recognize the Potential Even though it might be scary to venture into new markets, the opportunity is undeniably there. Experts advise companies to put their top talent into expansion, rather than saving it for those at the lower levels. New ideas, products, and brands are seeing incredible success as values and expectations shift around the world. In fact, most countries have so man

admin - Jessica Yellin, Former White House Correspondent + Author of ‘Savage News’ — Glambition Radio Episode 172 with Ali Brown

Back when Jessica Yellin began her career in broadcast journalism, she stated at every opportunity: ‘ My goal is to be a White House Correspondent .’ (Even when it garnered her some ‘Who do you think you are?’ looks.) And after working her way from local news to MSNBC, ABC, and then Good Morning America, she did it , becoming their official White House Correspondent in 2004. A few years later, she transitioned to CNN, and won Emmy, Gracie, and Peabody awards for journalism along the way. Today on GlambitionRadio.com , Jessica reveals how she built her powerful career by wearing her goals on her sleeve, and what inspired her to write her first novel, ‘ Savage News’ , which came out in April 2019. As described by Arianna Huffington : ‘If The Devil Wears Prada and Broadcast News had a love child, it would be this hilarious satire of the Washington circus.’ On #GlambitionRadio, Jessica shares why she chose to fictionalize her career in a novel, and the surprising reaction she’s h

Morgana - 9 Weddings and a Funeral

Today is my father’s birthday. It’s his first birthday without a body. I received the news of my father’s death 9 weeks ago via text message first thing upon waking up in Bali, on the third day of my 6-day Money Goddess Retreat. I was so afraid he’d pass during my retreat, but I found his death lifted a huge weight of waiting. I was grateful he was no longer trapped in a body that didn’t serve him. I felt like he was there with me, giving me energy and inspiration to serve the women at my retreat at another level. Interesting lesson on fear, isn’t it? Sometimes what we fear most turns out to be a gift. After I returned home from Bali, June was all about planning and delivering memorials on both coasts (something I’d never done before), and fulfilling his final wishes.   It was magical. I received more support and help than I ever imagined. Devin and I took Dad’s ashes with us from Los Angeles to New York, where Dad had been asking to return for the last two years of his life. I
