Thanksgiving has a different meaning to everyone. For some, it’s about family, and spending time together. For others, it’s about stuffing yourself to the point where you can’t stuff any more. And for still others, it’s about watching football, sleeping, or preparing your strategy for Black Friday. But there’s one common denominator – and it’s the obvious one. Thanksgiving, as it should be, it about giving thanks. We are all grateful for things in our lives, and often take them for granted. But how frequently do we actually take the time to acknowledge those to whom we feel fortunate to have in our lives, whether as family, friends, colleagues or cohorts. The truth is, this is something that we shouldn’t need a holiday to remind us to do, and it certainly shouldn’t be limited to once a year.
