The Single Greatest Thing You Can Do to Grow Your Business - Brian Tracy

write-a-book-to-boost-your-business

Over the course of the last 40 years, I’ve created several online courses on a variety of topics, spoken to millions of people around the world, and have helped countless companies to increase their revenue, but by far the thing that helped me to grow my business the most was writing a book…

One of the most common goals people have in their life is the desire to write a book.

Few people, however, understand that writing a book can be the keystone to other things they want in life as well, be it fame, fortune or just a great business.

A book opens up those doors as realistic possibilities because a book should be the focal point for a business.

Why is that?

A Book is an Instant Credibility Booster

Because a book is an instant credibility booster.

From a business perspective, writing a book is the fastest way to gain credibility, establish yourself as an expert in your field, and build a professional reputation. It can also be used as a promotional item and marketing tool for your business.

Think about it: What sort of impression do you get when you meet someone who has become a published author?

Without even knowing them, you might assume that if they were able to write an entire book and get it published, they must be an expert.

Every book I have written has helped me to position myself as the expert in that field, and they all served as a platform to build a business on. This is what you should be doing.

A Book Lets You Share Your Message With Others

Because it provides an opportunity for you to write and publish something on a subject that is important to you, and that you will have for the rest of your life. You can express your creativity while sharing your message with others.

One of the Universal Laws of Success is the “Law of Service” and it says:

Your rewards in life will be in direct proportion to the value of your service to others.

The more you work, study, and develop your ability to contribute more to the lives and well-being of others, the better life you will have in all areas.

Chances are if you are passionate about a certain subject, other people are too. And by writing a book about that subject, you can help others in their own lives and, in turn, help yourself achieve a more fulfilled life.

Concentrate on the Business Behind the Book

Write the book your heart compels you to, but concentrate on building a business behind the book, which will, in almost all cases, make more than even a blockbuster business book and create lasting value for you as the author/business person — the expert in your field.

If you enjoyed this video and feel it was valuable in helping you to grow your business, share it with your friends or anyone else who might benefit from this information.

Remember this: “Writing allows you to connect with people on a deeper level by giving them a brief insight into your mind.”

Allana Pratt, Intimacy Expert - Stuck In The Middle

Question: I don’t want to be in the middle of this! My boyfriend’s mother is sick and he wants to move back home to be closer to her. His mother HATES me and he wants me to go with him. The doctor’s are saying the outlook is not positive and I want him to be there for his mother but I don’t think I am a big enough person to put our issues aside to endure her. Am I horrible? Answer: Yes, you are a horrible horrible person and you’re going to hell. KIDDING!!!!!! You are magnificent and courageous and willing to tell the truth… and I find that inspiring I think it’s very important for people to be given the option to spend time with their parents as they die because sometimes people die suddenly and you never get a chance to say something; yet, your boyfriend will be able to feel good about the time, effort, and presence he gives her. And it’s also very important for you not to stop living or choose something that’s not a contribution for you and sacrifice yourself for another only t...

Allana Pratt, Intimacy Expert - Boyfriend Was Rude To Disabled Brother

Q: For about a year, I have been dating (what I thought) was a wonderful man.  I am very protective of my disabled brother so I am hesitant to introduce men in my life to him.  This guy was different so I wanted him to understand that if he was going to be a part of my life, he was going to be a part of my brother’s as well. The way he acted towards him was atrocious! He ignored him and if my brother made contact, he jumped as if my brother’s disability would rub off on him!  I thought he was the one but now I am not sure.  Thoughts? A: I’m so sorry love.  This experience must trouble your heart in two ways – how he treated your brother and disappointment for believing he was the one.  While I do not condone his behavior, I must say that people have a tendency to act unpredictable and/or unkind when they are around people who are different from them.  Through education and practice, people can change.  Would you be open to communicating with yo...
