Jessy - Kari Warberg Block, CEO of Earth-Kind, this week on Glambition™ Radio

Kari Warberg on Glambition Radio with Ali Brown Question: If a mouse ran up your leg while you were helping the farmer you were dating to push-start a truck (stay with me here…) you would:

A. Scream… and run away from said truck

B. Scream… and run away from said date

C. Scream… and run away from truck and date while noting an idea for a multimillion dollar business

Well, my friend Kari Warberg Block’s run-in with that rodent helped her launch a $40 million dollar company. So her answer was “C”.

Today on Glambition Radio, how one little mouse, a bottle of perfume, and A LOT of faith helped Kari create the business, and the life, of her dreams.

It’s a pretty incredible story. I’ll let HER talk you through it on the interview, as it’s quite comical. Her run-in with the rodent led her to the idea of creating a SAFE, non-poison rodent repellant. And it WORKED.

That was the good news. And the bad news… As sales started to take off, the Department of Agriculture took note. And they told her she needed to get her product registered and licensed and ultra-tested… to the tune of $2 million.

What happened next will inspire and delight you. Kari kept going when most people would’ve just thrown in the towel. Her perseverance, dedication, and unwavering faith paid off, and now her company manufactures the first and only EPA-certified botanical rodent repellent. It’s available in stores nationwide, including Ace Hardware and Whole Foods.

But trust me, you HAVE to hear it from Kari. She is just salt of the earth and I LOVE this woman!

This week’s Glambition Radio episode is loaded with inspiring advice on following your heart and NEVER giving up. Here’s a sneak preview for you from Kari, in her own words:

Tip #1: Believe in yourself

“I always love to let people know that they’re capable of so much more than they think. I was in special ed when I grew up. I went to a different school every year of my life. I was told I wouldn’t go to college. Look at me now. It’s fun to defy those odds.”

Tip #2: Find your niche and own it

“For me, this whole crazy thing with rodents would not have happened if I hadn’t worked in retail selling perfume and been dating a farmer. Everybody has some combination in their life, and it’s all there. Find your niche and own it.”

Tip #3: Let go and let God

“I used to think I had to control everything. But not until I really let go and said, ‘Okay God, I’m going to let go, and I’m going to let you show me the way’… it made everything so much more effortless. You start to see things appear before you that have always been there, but you didn’t see them before.”

Allana Pratt, Intimacy Expert - My boyfriend’s messaging strange women

Question: Do you have any idea why a man would start instant messaging strange woman after being in a five year relationship. Said he was “stupid” and wasn’t physical with anybody. I guess you can say I have trust issues. Answers: Ouch! I am so sorry. Do I have any idea why? Here is what I have learned, first off I am really sorry because that really hurts. If you have trust issues especially, that would hurt and sting even more. So first something about trust and then something about men. Trust: When we trust, it’s not that we trust someone to be perfect. That sets us up for failure because no one is perfect and you can’t control anybody. That is insanity if we try to control another and put all of our power – making sure they be a certain way to so that we are safe. Instead, find that safety and trust inside you. That safety being that capacity to discern and know that come what may, you’ve got your own back – you can take care of yourself. It takes a lot of pressure off of other...
