Question: As a new age woman, I would love to pay when on a date. I also prefer to drive (for safety purposes and convenience) but don’t want to make the guy feel like a woman. How can I find a balance of being equal and not emasculating.

Answer: It sounds like one of two things may be happening here, love. Either 1) You love the role of being a provider for your King. Your way of supporting him is to pay for dinner and drive, so he can relax and not worry – just be cared for and nurtured. If so, don’t be ashamed. Embrace it and communicate that this is how you love showing him your admiration. Now, the second reason could be the fear of letting go and/or rejection.
